  RETURNS AND STORE CREDITS

We know that most of our customers are buying for a special event and you need a little time to see if something matches or fits just right. We'll always do our best to take care of customers. We guarantee that we'll hold up to our policy 100% for every customer and treat everyone fairly. We are very transparent about the policy upfront and this is posted online 24/7. It's just how we want to do business with you and maintain a good relationship with you. **In Store all sales are final**

What types of refunds/returns are available?

Stores Credits, Refunds to original payment and Free Returns for our Bella Mera Studio Collection

What are the Return Guidelines? 

  1. Request a return within 10 days total from when the items show delivered from the carrier, 3 days only for Milano Dresses and 5 days for Bill Levkoff In Stock Dresses. Our return form is available 24/7 at the bottom of this page and is time stamped and you will receive a confirmation email within minutes of submitting your Return Form.
  2. If your return is approved and meet our criteria, we will issue your Return Authorization Number. Your RMA number expires 5 days after the date it was created, we do require you to send your tracking number within 5 days, the item MUST be postmarked by the 5th day or the return will not be accepted and your package will not be accepted/sent back 
  3. Returns will not be accepted after your Wedding or Event date you list on your invoice or your wedding website
  4. Returns must be in original condition - security tags cannot be removed, original tags in the same place, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean & free of lint and hair with no markings. Once any tag has been removed, an item cannot be returned.
  5. Our return address only accepts Authorized Pre-Approved Packages. Returns can only be sent back with approval. The return address is NOT the same as our store address

 Items not eligible to be returned

  1. Special Order items that were ordered specifically for you this includes bridesmaids, fabric orders by the yard, swatches, flower girl and junior bridesmaids dresses. Only Dessy in stock dresses are returnable within 30 days and some in stock Bill Levkoff. In stock means you received your dress within 3-10 days of ordering it.
  2. Personalized and dyed items are final sale
  3. Items with any tags missing and not attached to the item
  4. Veils with custom blushers added and wedding veil colors or sashes that are gold,oyster, blush, black, mocha, rum pink and champagne are non-returnable
  5. Any items from the Erica Koesler Collection, Altered Items, Jewelry, Furs, Slips, Earrings, Necklaces, Garment Bags
  6. Undergarments/Slips, Bra/bra cups are final sale 
  7. Any item that may have been damaged in route to you is replaced with the same exact item only if you purchased insurance. 

What if I need to get new merchandise before my return is complete?

New merchandise or replacements cannot be shipped out unless you place a new order as we do not offer exchanges. You will have to place a new order for your new merchandise with the current processing times. Your new return or store credit is sole and separate from the new purchase. We would be happy to find a faster option, if needed, just call us. If you choose store credit, you can wait to purchase new items until your store credit is approved.

Can I use my same coupon from the original order after I return?

If you used a coupon on your original order, we will not apply that coupon to a new order. You have to use what current coupons are available at the time of the new purchase. 

Can I cancel my order?

Our order platform and shipping systems are designed to send orders right away to our manufactures with sensitive shipping dates. Therefore we cannot change, cancel, transfer funds or exchange goods. If you contact us within 1 hour of placing your order and need to make a small change, that may be doable. If you approved a special order or special dates for your order and then change your mind, we cannot cancel your order. We are niche boutique and most merchandise is custom ordered to your specifications just for you.  

What can I expect to be deducted out of my return or store credit?

Your refund or store credit will be minus any Free Shipping Fees, Rush Fees & and the Original Shipping charge of your order is non-refundable. Any Free promotional items such hanger clips, garment bags, etc. are not returnable and will be charged full price. If you received a free garment bag; we will deduct out the full price for that item.

Why did my item come with a security tag?

Over the past 5 years, we have found that we received a high number of returns of what appeared to be worn veils & designer items which are not items resold. Our customers want new unopened merchandise. To help in both instances, we implemented a tag to help ensure these items are returned in original new condition with tags still attached. If your item has a security tag and it's removed, the return is void. Most accessories have them and we scan the barcode once the tag is applied. Some of the security tamper tags prevent the customer from trying to wear the item for their event, hair trials, photos, etc. until they decide if they want to keep it. This helps all customers and helps us continue to take returns.

  

RETURN FEES 

Shipping, Rush Fees or Free Shipping Charges are always non-refundable, unless we made an error. Your are responsible for any shipping fee to return. Please note merchandise below $25.00 a $5 minimum return fee will apply. Wedding Veils WITH additional sewn on or custom added velcro blushers added to your veil or any custom modification will not be accepted for a return due to customization. ALL ERICA KOESLER ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. We guarantee all merchandise and authenticity.

Shoes

We will exchange one (1) time for a $10 fee per pair and you pay for shipping OR A Return Fee of 15% fee will apply if you want to return the shoe for a refund. You pay for shipping back to us & shipping is non-refundable. Shoes must be unworn with no toe markings or worn bottoms.

 

In stock dresses by Bill Levkoff or #LEVKOFF (5 day to request a return)

Some of our Levkoff and Bill Levkoff dresses are returnable and they are shipped to you in 10 days or less, they are clearly marked in stock program. Regular orders are not returnable. You can order it, try it on and return it if you don't love it (*UNALTERED*). Security tag must be attached and no stains with original tags. A Return Fee of $20.00 fee will apply & you pay for shipping back.

 

In stock dresses by Dessy, After Six, Lela Rose, Jenny Yoo, Jenny Packham, Social or Alfred Sung (30 day to request a return)

These are the only bridesmaids & dresses that are returnable by the Dessy Collections and they are shipped to you in 1-4 weeks or less, they are clearly marked in stock program. Regular orders are not returnable. You can order it, try it on and return it if you don't love it (*UNALTERED*). Security tag must be attached and no stains with original tags. A Return Fee of $20.00 fee will apply & you pay for shipping back.

In Stock Womans Tuxedo By Dessy

You can order it, try it on and return it if you don't love it! Security tag must be attached and no stains with original tags. A Return Fee of $20.00 (per item, which means if you purchased the Tuxedo Jacket and Tuxedo Pants, the return fee is ($20 per item, not per order) & you pay for shipping back.

Milano Dresses

A Return Fee of 20% (per item) for Milano Formals returns or store credit & you pay for shipping back to us ****YOU HAVE 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO NOTIFY FOR A RETURN*** We will not accept a return after your event date or if the dress has been worn. Milano Bridesmaids Dresses are non-returnable.

 

DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE POLICY

We closely inspect every piece of merchandise that leaves for shipping and photos of your product will be compared to the original photos when the shipment was sent out. We photograph merchandise upon shipment with your packing slip and the box before shipment. For defective or damaged items, any damage claims must be reported within 2 business day of receiving the shipment from the carrier. We will not accept returns because you ordered the wrong size, chose the wrong color, accidentally damaged your item or the event cancels. To report such items, contact us immediately via Support@BellaMeraBridal.com & verbally at 888-200-7820.

A defective dress would be a zipper missing or something drastic (we have never seen a missing zipper, this is an example), not size claims or color claims. We inspect every shipment for the color, size and fabric that you chose personally. If we did not send that, we will gladly correct any issue asap. However, if we sent you exactly what you ordered, we will not take any claim. Unless a drastic issue is reported.

If you have accidentally damaged your own merchandise as it can happen, we can assist you with a promo price on another item only. Depending upon stock availability, Bella Mera Bridal will attempt to replace defective or damaged items. If a replacement cannot be issued, you will receive a store credit only for the purchase price plus shipping and handling fees for the item(s). A refund will only get issued if we do not have that item available and your event has passed.

BULK BUYING/MULTIPLE ITEMS/WARDROBING POLICY

We understand you may see many lovely items on the website you want and excited you want to see many things in person. However, we do not have a Try on Service for accessories, we sell new unopened merchandise. If your a bulk shopper or prefer to see before you decide to keep the merchandise. Our policy is one return per customer, per card or same address in the same category within a 60 day period. Example, if you buy multiple wedding veils, only one item will be accepted for a return. Placing multiple or separate orders does not negate this policy (ie: you purchase twice under two different cards or you place separate orders shipping to the same address). This only applies if your buying multiple items of the same thing. 

 

 

How do I request a return?

Request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number by filling out the form below. You will receive a confirmation email right away that we received your return and another detailed email with details about your return within 5 business days, including your RMA number and next steps or instructions & address where to send your item. 

Refund Process:

Once your item shows delivered back to us, please allow 5-7 business days for the inspection and to process your return. You will receive a confirmation via email when your return has been processed. Credit Card refunds are done on the 28th of every month. We'll credit your original account of payment during that time, which will show on your next statement for credit card returns, depending on the issuing bank and/or billing cycle. 

If an item is returned in unacceptable condition, we will send it back to you and no refund will be issued.
