RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY
We know that many of our customers are buying for a special event and you need a little time to see if something matches or fits just right. We'll always do our best to take care of customers. We guarantee that we'll hold up to our policy. It's just how we want to do business with you and maintain a good relationship with you.
What are the Return Guidelines?
- You have 10 days total including weekends and holidays (Christmas Day, New Years Day & Thanksgiving Day we don't count) for items that are returnable & only 3 business days only for Milano Dresses from the date of the carrier delivery to notify us your desire to return. Our return form is time stamped and you will receive a confirmation email within minutes of submitting your Return Form. After you have been issued an Return Authorization Number, you have 5 total days to send your tracking number, the item MUST be postmarked by the 5th day or the return will not be accepted (15 days total combined time)
- Request your return by filling out the Return Form at the bottom of this page
- Returns will not be accepted after your Wedding or Event date for any reason & auto-voided; therefore your return days can be exceeded if you ordered merchandise to close to your event date
- Returns must be in original condition - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean & free of lint and hair with no markings or odors with the original tags intact.
- Shoes cannot have any toe markings, stained heels and bottoms cannot be scratched or look worn. Be sure to try your shoes indoors on a carpeted surface with hosiery
- If we suspect that the goods have been used, worn or any of the return conditions are not met then we reserve the right to return the goods to you
- We do not take returns on merchandise that is returned to sender for incorrect address's given to us at the time of shipping. If you provided an incorrect address & your package is lost we are not responsible for replacing your item or if returned here, Shipping has to be paid to reship the item & the return policy is no longer available to you.
- Our return address only accepts Authorized Pre-Approved Packages. Returns can only be sent back with approval. The return address is NOT the same as our store address
What items are non-returnable, non-refundable or non-exchangeable?
Return Requests past the 10 days or 3 business days for Milano will not be accepted for any reason. We DO NOT take returns, exchanges or store credits on Bridesmaids Dresses or Any Flower Girl Dresses (*Dessy in stock bridesmaids are returnable), Any items from the Erica Koesler Collection, Altered Items, Furs, Slips, Earrings, Garment Bags, Bridal Veil/Hanger Clips, Jewelry due to health and hygienic reasons, Junior Bridesmaids, Mens Ties or Mens Accessories, Flower Girl Dresses, Wedding Gowns, Undergarments, Bras, Body Enhancers, Dyed shoes, Wedding Veils WITH additional sewn/velcro blushers added to your veil or any custom modification will not be accepted for a return due to customization. Any Colored Wedding Veils or Bridal Sashes/Belts such as champagne, pink, alabaster, oyster, gold, rum pink, black, light mocha, blush veils & light gold are non-returnable. *Wedding veils that are White, Ivory and Diamond White CAN be returned*
What if I need to get new merchandise before my return is complete?
New merchandise or replacements cannot be shipped out unless you place a new order as we do not offer exchanges. You will have to place a new order for your new merchandise with the current processing times. Your new return is sole and separate from the new purchase. We would be happy to find a faster option, if needed, just call us.
What if I need to make a change to my order or cancel it?
Our order fulfillment and shipping platform are designed to send orders very efficiently with sensitive shipping dates. Our processing begins as soon as an order has been placed, therefore we cannot change, cancel, transfer funds, exchange for something else or modify orders. If you contact us within 30 minutes of placing your order and need to make a small change, that may be doable. If you approved a special order or special dates for your order and then change your mind, we cannot cancel your order. We are niche boutique and most merchandise is custom ordered to your specifications just for you.
Will you refund my original payment method?
Absolutely! The refunds will go to your original payment minus the return fees below for your category in US dollars only
What can I expect to be deducted out of my return?
Your refund will be minus any Free Shipping Fees, Pre-Paid Shipping Fees, Rush Fees & Handling Fees and the Original Shipping charge of your order is non-refundable. Any Free promotional items such hanger clips, garment bags, etc. are not returnable and will be charged full price. If you received a free garment bag; we will deduct out the full price for that item.
Wedding Veils, Headpiece, Hair Accessories, Tiaras, Shoes or Wedding Sash/Belt
A Return Fee of 20% (per item, not per order) and Cathedral Veils are 25% return fee for all returns & you pay for shipping back to us & shipping is non-refundable. Please note merchandise below $95.00 a $25 minimum return fee will apply. Wedding Veils WITH additional sewn/velcro blushers added to your veil or any custom modification will not be accepted for a return due to customization. ALL ERICA KOESLER ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.
In stock dresses by Dessy, After Six, Lela Rose, Jenny Yoo, Social or Alfred Sung
These are the only bridesmaids that are returnable and they are shipped to you in 1-4 weeks or less, they are clearly marked in stock program. Regular orders are not returnable. You can order it, try it on and return it if you don't love it! Security tag must be attached and no stains with original tags. A Return Fee of $20.00 (per item, not per order) for all returns & you pay for shipping back to us. SEE DRESSES HERE.
In Stock Womans Tuxedo By Dessy
These are the only tuxedos that are returnable. You can order it, try it on and return it if you don't love it! Security tag must be attached and no stains with original tags. A Return Fee of $20.00 (per item, which means if you purchased the Tuxedo Jacket and Tuxedo Pants, the return fee is ($20 per item, not per order) & you pay for shipping back to us .
Milano Dresses and Alyce Paris Dresses
A Return Fee of 45% (per item) for Alyce Paris and A Return Fee of 20% (per item) for Milano Formals returns & you pay for shipping back to us ****YOU HAVE 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO NOTIFY FOR A RETURN*** We will not accept a return after your event date or if the dress has been worn. Milano Bridesmaids Dresses are non-returnable.
Defective or Damaged Merchandise
We closely inspect every piece of merchandise that leaves for shipping. This is very rare occurrence and photos of your product will be compared to the original photos when the shipment was sent out. We photograph merchandise upon shipment with your packing slip and the box before shipment. For defective or damaged items, the issue must be reported within 1 business day of receiving the shipment. We will not accept returns because you ordered the wrong size, chose the wrong color, accidentally broke/tore merchandise or due to event cancellations. To report such items, contact us immediately via the e-mail address & verbally at 888-200-7820.
A defective dress would be a zipper missing or something drastic (we have never seen a missing zipper, this is an example), not size claims or color claims. We inspect every shipment for the color, size and fabric that you chose personally. If we did not send that, we will gladly correct any issue asap. However, if we sent you exactly what you ordered, we will not take any claim.
If you have accidentally damaged your own merchandise as it can happen, we can assist you with a promo price on another item only. Depending upon stock availability, Bella Mera Bridal will attempt to replace defective or damaged items. If a replacement cannot be issued, you will receive a store credit only for the purchase price plus shipping and handling fees for the item(s). A refund will only get issued if we do not have that item available.
What if I buy two wedding veils or two items to try them on at home?
If your a bulk shopper or prefer to see before you decide to keep the merchandise. Our policy is one return per customer, per card or same address in the same category within a 45 day period. Example, if you buy 2 wedding veils, only one item will be accepted for a return. Placing multiple orders does not negate this policy, we have systems in place to know if its the same person ordering and trying to place multiple orders to try on each item and return them. In addition, if you buy merchandise, return it for refund, then purchase another item from the same category (IE: Return a veil, buy another veil) within the 45 days, you cannot process a return,as you have already exhausted your 45 day return guideline. We are Niche Boutique and do not offer try on services at this time. This only applies to if your buying multiple items.
What are the next steps to process my return?
Credit Card refunds are done on the 28th of every month. The entire process will take approx 2-3 weeks for credit card returns, depending how soon you notify us of the return and how quickly you return the item after approval. We'll credit your original account of payment during that time, which will show on your next statement for credit card returns, depending on the issuing bank and/or billing cycle.
